04/11/99
It came to my attention that some copies of my script contained a macro virus
in the word documents!!!
I test my computer regulery, but came up with nothing, but when I installed an
other virus scanner it came up with this virus: Macro.Word97.Class.q!!!

I don't know where it came from or what it does, and sofar I have suffered no
bad consequenses, but...

Please, if you downloaded version 3.04 or lower of my script, install the
latest Mcaffee or F-Secure anti-virus suit to check your documents!!!

To stop spreading this virus, I have and will only use notepad files!

* ADDENDUM 26/11/99: I now know who gave this virus to me (grumble) and
that it probably only infected version 3.04. The zip you could d/l from
Randy's I.AM/TFC site was already cleaned by him, so no worries if you d/l it
from there.
The virus is harmless as far as I know, but nevertheless, kill it!

The F-Secure virus database has this to say over the Macro.Word97.Class.q virus:
	Name: Class

This Word macro virus (also known as the "MS Word 97 Macro Class Virus")
	infects Word 97 documents.

W97M/Class changes it's own code constantly by inserting comments that
contain the current user name, current date and time, and information
	about the active printer.

The virus uses an effective way to hide its code. By using special
WordBasic operators the virus installs its module inoto Word classes.
The virus code is appended as a native Word component. As a result the
virus is not visible in the Tools/Macro menu.

W97M/Class activates on the 31st of every month. At this time it displays
	this message:

	This Is Class
	o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
	o VicodinES /CB /TNN o
	o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

	*Variant: Class.D
W97M/Class.D activates on the 14th of the month from June to December. At
this time it displays a message:
"I Think (Name of the current user) is a big stupid jerk!
		VicodinES Loves You / Class.Poppy"
The virus also sometimes changes the registered company name to "Dr. Diet
	Mountain Dew".

	*Variant: Class.B
This is almost identical to Class.D except the displayed message is
slightly different and the name of the registered user is not changed.

	*Variant: Class.Q
This variant is functionally identical with Class.B.
